The pines close in around you from the very first tee, creating a sense of remove that feels a world away from the suburbs surrounding it — quiet, focused, and entirely your own.

Arthur Hills designed Pine Trace with the same principle that guides all of his finest work: let the land lead. The result is 18 holes that feel both inevitable and surprising, each one occupying its own distinct character within the broader landscape. The fairways ask for shape and strategy. The newly rebuilt greens reward patience and precision. And the 40 bunkers — each one placed with intention — ensure that every decision off the tee carries real consequence.

Pine Trace is a course that plays differently depending on how you approach it. Four tee levels stretch from the Forward tees at around 5,000 yards to the Championship tees at approximately 6,600, meaning the course has something genuine to offer every player — not as a concession, but by design. Hills built it that way on purpose.
